2023"SAR in Big Data Era" symposium

The UN announced the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in 2015. Human Societies are persuiting the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030, shifting our world on to a sustainable and resilient path.  Earth observation technologies are important tools to facilitate and evaluate the progress of 17 SDGs and 169 Targets. Among those, synthetic aperture radar (SAR) is a powerful EO technology with its active sensing capability.

The first "SAR in Big Data Era" symposium was held in Beijing in 2017. Since then, SAR satellites and relevant data are booming with rapid developemt of Big Data and artificial intelligence. SAR in Big Data Era 2023, as before, will provide an exchange platform for SAR communities sharing experiences of SAR technology advances, data processing algorithms and applications for SDGs.
